The Tower Room Doorway - Why?
For the love of all that is good in this world...WHY is the doorway shaped this way? It would be a lot prettier if this doorway had the same arch as the other doors and windows for the sake of consistency, or even if it were a regular rectangular doorway!
Well, I made the doorway taller, so that my doll could walk through without bumping his head. :) I will have to make a door later out of scrap particle board.

Go figure. I've often wondered about the designer of this house...that doorway, the fireplace on the stair wall with no chimney, the steps down on those side room. Weird! I do look forward to what you do with the tower.
And,I DO like it that you're ahead of me so much...it warns me of odd things to come. Now, I can start with knowing that I'll have to redo this too.
I guess you read what I'm doing to the Master bedroom wall. That's another weirdo thing. Open the door and run face in to a wall. Well, thank goodness we can figure out how to get around those crazy spots.

Well, I do hope it works well. So far, so good, but I'm having a cranky stairwell/bedroom partition. I worked a long time today, but started saying bad words and knew it was time to quit, so I went out and pulled weeds instead.
I do so enjoy building our houses with you.
