The Main Roof - Dry Fitting

I had a "So That's Why!" moment today. Apparently, making the tower room door taller was absolutely useless! The slanted roof cuts across the tower room in such a way that it's impossible to have the doorway any taller. I am crushed!

If I were any good at kit-bashing, I'd figure out a way to make the attic roof higher, since right now the third floor rooms seem very cramped and hard to access. I hope the Greenleaf designers will rethink the design in later versions and make the floor-plan more open for maximum use and enjoyment.

Oh, no!!! I've wondered about that from looking at other photos. Are you glued down yet? Could you wait a while, until I get to that point to see if I can bash some? I've become pretty good at that, but I'm rather far from that point. I don't know what to say. It looks nice, but with small functionality. I feel your disappointment. Bless your heart. Let me see what I can do, my dear.

I haven't glued on the roof yet. I will have to line the inside with fabric "wallpaper" before I glue it on.

Sure I will wait! It would be awesome if you come up with an alternate design. I hope to think up some easy solutions as well...

I don't plan to add the rest of the roof parts other than what you see in the photos already. They would cover up more of the third floor.

I've had the impression that the third story of houses like this was meant for either servants or attic storage - which explains the low ceilings but sure is a waste of a nice tower! Good luck; I wish I could help, but my little Greenleaf Glencroft has a different set of problems.

I am so hoping your request through SSD will come up with some answers. I've been thinking, but am too far from that point yet to experiment.
